TK02 Full Face Helmet SAVES Lives
If you already did not know that we recently launched a new helmet then now you do. Keep reading to see how one of our customers survived a serious accident (was safe with TK02)
Little over a week ago we started shipping out our full face helmets. Everyone loves it so we are sure you would too. RuNot is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The helmet's flexibility, removable linings, Quick Buckle Release, and Impact Protection all add to its overall value. The helmet is very comfortable to wear, and it has been certified by the DOT, the ECE, and the 3C authorities.
DOT-certified helmets are designed to protect the head during most types of motorcycle crash impacts. The helmets are tested under conditions that simulate a moderate impact at up to 250 times the force of gravity (250g). DOT helmets are designed to absorb the force of the crash rather than resisting the impact.
The ECE 22.05 certification is a European approval of the minimum safety requirements of a motorcycle (or scooter) helmet. The certification is used in nearly 50 countries worldwide. In the USA they have their own certification; the DOT approval.
3C certification is the same as above but certified by the Chines Authorities.
One of our customers already had a serious fall with our TK02 helmet and here is what he had to say.
"I was going down a road, no vehicle in site. Felt comfortable doing 30 mph (the speed I would typically get speed wobbles). I wanted to push the envelope. Knowing that I had the TK02 on, I would be okay to push it further. As I reached 34 mph, there was a slight dip in the road. I started getting speed wobbles. I knew at that speed, that trying to slow down would not help. So I bailed from my board. My hips and head bounced off the pavement and I was sent into a rolling crash. Thankfully, only the clear visor, from the helmet, came off. The mouth guard stayed on and in place.
When I gained my equilibrium, I saw that my elbow pads had protected my fall, but more importantly my head was in tact, thanks to the Nobleman TK02." Thatbionicguy
